Underground culture lovers and street art fans gathered on August 23rd at the Roman Arenas, in Bucharest (RO), for the biggest event of its kind happening in the country: Street Heroes, which already reached its 10th edition.
This year the urban culture festival offered various competitions: from skate, inline, bmx, to bboy, mc and even streetball. After the unfortunate cancellation from the last edition, the organizing team made it up with the Romanian public by finally bringing the Italian Reggae band Mellow Mood for the first time here.
Mellow Mood started the evening with a short but very intense show, which energized the public with enough positive energy to last them for the whole night. A big part of the public was very young, but very enthusiastic, which is a good thing for the development of culture and reggae music in Romania. The band and the public were connected very well, some of the luckiest in the audience went home with the latest Mellow Mood album called “Twinz”.
Unfortunately the busy schedule of the festival didn’t allow the band to make the encore requested by the public. After a little break, the band members joined the public for a couple of minutes and the fans were really excited to make photos with the artists.
We are glad that Mellow Mood finally made it to Romania and had the chance to meet their Romanians fans, and the fans to meet their favourite band.
Till the next time.. Reggae music to your ears!
